The Bag Eater!

Our kitchen trash can is one of those "bag eating" species. You know the kind. You put a fresh trash bag in it and the first time you drop something into it, the bag falls down into the can.

Last year, I saw a solution to this. It was to put a small bunjy cord around it. But, there was just something I didn't like about it. I'm not sure what. It could be that I'd have to go to the store and buy some.

Then, it dawned on me. Binder clips would work. And, I had TONS of them.

So, the pros were:

I already had them.
They were cheap if I needed to buy replacements.
I could wash them.

After about a year of using them, the verdict is in. . . THEY WORK GREAT!

You could probably use 2, but I use 3 because I'm a detail person.

So, stop digging the bag out of the trash can and do something more fun and/or productive!
